My name is Luz Helena and I work intuitively from the heart. I help people feel clear, calm and connected to their internal wisdom through long-term programs, one-on-one sessions, workshops and retreats. Working with me is for those who yearn for deep and gentle life-changing transformation along with some good belly laughs.

My focus is on teaching the kind of yoga that happens beyond the mat – it is a way of living that puts us back in touch with the mystical through the vehicle of our own bodies and the earth. I have followed my spirit’s call around the world and have been shaped by the energetic and cultural transmissions of each sacred site. I lived, breathed and embodied the culture of yoga while apprenticing with a Yoga Master in Nepal for two years. I received ancient teachings from the land while living in my beloved Hawaii. I have received the healing and embodied transmissions of living and offering this work within the Portland community for over 3 years. A cutting-edge community in somatic work and authentic relationships. And I have been living most of the past 5 years in an ashram in India, in the presence of the embodiment of pure love, Amma, the hugging Saint. 

I have traveled all over the world, received transmissions from some of the most incredible healers, teachers and sacred lands. 

My roots are now all over the world, wherever I go I sing, dance, frolic in nature and cultivate community.  I have learned to pack light, to move on the fly and to cultivate home in my heart space. The space I invite you into when you choose to work and grow with me!
